Brian and Amanda had an absolutely amazing wedding day! I met them some time ago at a Panera with their wedding coordinator and I knew I would love this couple! We got together a week or two later for their engagement session and they were easy to photograph. Their love for each other is so apparent, it made my job easy!

They chose to have their wedding at The Mansion at Tuckahoe, this is a beautiful venue and your options for customizing its look seem to be endless! They keep their venue mostly blank, allowing you to have the exact wedding you want. Amanda and Brian wanted a vintage wedding and that was possible due to all of the room and empty space to bring in everything she wanted. The outside of the Mansion at Tuckahoe has a perfect lawn and beautiful flowers and trees through out the property which makes for a peaceful setting and great backgrounds for wedding pictures!

This ended up being one of the smoothest weddings I have attended, which surprised me because there were so many moving parts. I would have to credit their wedding coordinator, Valerie. Venues by Valerie really impressed me. Valerie is a very personable, sweet person but she still has that oomph that you need to boss a few people around! She planned a wedding that involved every type of vendor you could think of, she stayed on top of each of us and was sure that we had everything we needed. She seemed to think of everything and I didn’t see her bothering the bride much at all on the actually wedding day. This kept Amanda stress free since Valerie did all of the work and knew exactly what Amanda wanted before the big day.

Onto the wedding day!

When I got there the first thing I saw was Amanda receiving her wedding gift from Brian. Girl got a Ducati….she was so excited and in tears!

Then it was back upstairs to get ready! The girls where laughing all day while they spent hours getting ready.

Of course the guys were laughing all day while they took shots because it doesn’t take hours to get ready when you have short hair and don’t need makeup!

Rumor is though, it took Brian about 40 minutes to get his hair done! I guess it takes time to have an awesome man bun!

It was time to get dressed and her wedding dress, provided by Molle Bridal was perfect. It was the absolute perfect mix of modern and vintage beauty.

I had to hang it from the balcony as scary as it was!

Of course it looked even better on her because she owns a cross fit gym which means the girl is fit! She also had it altered by Susanne at la petite fleur couture bridal salon, so it fit her to perfection!

Lets back up to these accessories! They are so classy and beautiful!

Then the shoes!

Thankfully she had these lovely ladies to help her get into them!

I need to take a minute to talk about this hair! She had such a unique hair style thanks to Kelly Haggerty!

She seriously went above and beyond and worked her butt off doing everyone’s hair and makeup. She was sure to make everyone look flawless! Then she put fresh flowers in Amanda’s hair, absolutely perfect!

Speaking of flowers, all of the beautiful greenery and colorful flowers were provided by Misty Rose Flowers. She provided very unique bouquets and table decor, it was perfect!

I also have to mention the plethora of vintage eye candy provided by Kathy Peterson.  She did not miss a single room in this mansion! Even the bathrooms were vintage. I was overwhelmed with the amount of vintage beauty at this wedding!

I caught Amanda peeking out the windows many times as she started towards the ceremony. She had a huge smile on her face and was full of excitement and butterflies! She did have some Stress Away on her wrist to smell through out the day so she stayed pretty calm!

She took the ride around the round-about to the ceremony in this very vintage 1918 Ford something…I could have the year wrong but it was old and it was awesome. She looked like a Queen in this car!

Onto the ceremony. Everyone looked perfect, everyone was there in time and it was beautiful! Venues by Valerie ran this wedding with absolute perfection!

They exchanged these beautiful wedding rings…yes, his ring is wood, I love it!

Then they had this picture perfect first kiss! No detail was missed at this wedding!

We took some pictures after the ceremony of this perfectly coordinated group! These awesome groomsman suites were provided by Cardita Formal Wear.

Then we got the whole family together in the “pink room”, which was beautifully designed, just for the bride, by Kathy Peterson Inspired Vintage Weddings!

Then we broke off from the group and allowed the newly weds some alone time….with the camera still there of course!

After he swept her off her feet we went over to those amazing vintage cars they had parked!

They had some fun on the balcony…

They shared a few sweet moments…

Then we went over the their favorite spot in the Mansion at Tuckahoe. This side balcony offers the best view! This balcony is also where blue bridals set up a cigar bar for the reception!

The sun was setting and the band was playing. Ryan & Friends happen to be playing something soft and beautiful, creating the perfect moment for these love birds!

After Amanda and Brian had some real alone time, without the camera, they had this perfectly choreographed first dance! Megan at Fred Astar Dance studio did an awesome job with this first dance! Once again, picture perfect in every way!

The reception was decorated and staged perfectly. Sweet and Fancy Cake Boutique delivered a combination of cupcakes and a small cake to cut. Yes, some of these cupcakes are in tea cups!

The cake sat on top in all of its glory.

These flowers were of course edible and delicious!

Every cupcake had a different, perfectly formed, sugar flower or other decoration, it was really unique and tasty!

This wedding was full of beautiful things and beautiful people! They had great food, provided by Charlie’s Bar and Grille and of course, an open bar! It was truly an amazing day!

I learned very quickly, that this truck was to be honored! He said, she has to be willing to marry me and the truck. So, we had a lot of fun using the truck as a prop and watched Chris show this truck some true love. Then we moved past his truck baby and that is where I saw what he truly loves.

Cathie, thankfully, is his true love. He could not keep his hands off of his soon to be wife!

There was no looking off in the distance for him, he had much better things to look at!

There was also no such thing as a soft kiss for a picture. He couldn’t help him self! Which is why I had to show off this picture which was taken right before the “soft kiss”!

Even when they were around his truck, he really did have his eyes on her! This is a fun moment after he whispered something in her ear that I dare not ask!

Even when I was trying to get a picture of just her, he couldn’t help but to sneak in for a quick kiss!

Of course when I was trying to get a picture of just him, she had to take the picture from him! These two are so much fun!!

As you can see here, I did get the picture of just him, but he still is looking at his bride only!

Aren’t they a gorgeous couple though!!

Of course they have a beautiful ring to match!

We had a really good time at their engagement session and I simply cannot wait until their wedding!!! I cant imagine the amount of love that will be in Chris’s eyes when he sees Cathie in her wedding dress! Congratulations you two!!!

I had an awesome time with this sweet family!

Dad and son were the typical male at any photo session, they weren’t crazy about the idea of smiling and just wanted you to take the pictures! So, I had to work extra hard to bring out their soft sides!

Mom and daughter however let their sweetness shine the whole time!

This family was so much fun. Their kids have no spouses or children keeping them busy yet so these four are very close!

In the end I really grew to love this family. They have such a sweet demeanor to them, you just can’t not love them!

I explained to them how much I love Spanish moss, its so pretty! Dad agreed and wanted some shots in front of it!

They are also animal lovers like me, so I didn’t feel to silly when I had the un-resistible urge to take pictures of these guys!

I really enjoyed working with them, I am so glad they called me!! Good luck on your move Greiner family!!

She wanted beach pictures and she chose a sunrise photo session!

I love sunrise sessions! Erika wants to be a paramedic. She has a desire to help people but wants the action with it!

I had to opportunity to photograph her older sisters wedding so I was super excited when I got the call to do her senior portraits!

Her family is so much fun, she is truly a blessed girl!

Congratulations on making it to your senior year Erika!

Keep that sweet attitude and loving personality through all of your years, you will soar!

We started off in the sand. Seriously, look at her face, she’s beautiful!!

We moved over to the rocks after getting some amazing shots on the sand. I knew she would get a little wet on the rocks so it was the perfect transition before getting into the water!

Shamara was such a natural, even though she claimed to be bad at this! She is a performer, its in her blood! Her pictures were easy and fun!

We moved into the water. I had a feeling the water shots would be our favorite and they were!

If you think her pictures are beautiful, you need to hear her voice!

I cannot believe it is already time for senior portraits again!! I got to start the 2016 school year with my cousin James!

He lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania so he knew he wanted pictures on the beach! We went to the Jetty in Fort Pierce, Florida to catch the sunrise for these picture!

James goes to a challenging Catholic school in the city which means he is probably tearing apart my blog for grammatical errors right now! I never claimed to be a writer, just a photographer! He had three outfits he wanted to wear starting with a white shirt and blue jean shorts that he was very proud to say he made himself!

Then he changed into nice khakis and this blue and white shirt that made him look even more like a model then he did in the first outfit!

Then he had to rock the pink shirt! A real man can wear pink and James has certainly grown to be an awesome man!

James wants to be a sports broadcaster. This means he has to go to school for journalism and learn the ins and outs or reporting. Again, not excited about him reading my little blog here! He has already toured a few colleges and has the ball rolling as he starts his senior year of high-school! My Aunt Bern seriously raised him right. He is smart, mature, respectful and so handsome!

She looked at him with so much pride through the entire photo shoot. My Aunt Bern is a no joke, serious, down to business type lady so seeing this soft, proud side of her was awesome!

But, seriously, look at this face….

Who couldn’t love that face!

Congratulations James! Its your last year in the rough Catholic school system, keep up the good work!

I covered the Vintage Bride, the Boho Bride and the Country Bride! Now onto the Traditional Bride!

The traditional bride. She is simple and beautiful. She will wear a full length dress with a train and fluff.

She will have a classy hairstyle to compliment her traditional gown.

She will have simple make up that enhances her natural beauty for her groom.

There will usually be a beautiful veil.

There will almost always be a big smile.

She will have special things for you to capture. Traditions are big with her!

Of course there is always an amazing ring no matter what kind of bride you are!

This traditional bride has a different story! This bridal session was done for her 10 year wedding anniversary!

This pearl necklace that she wore has an amazing story! Her dad came from Japan as a kid to stay with his pen pal. As a thank you his mother sent the family hosting him a pearl necklace. This bride even has the original packaging!

One of my favorite parts of this bridal session…getting her daughter into her wedding dress! Megan Carver, my favorite hair and make-up artist, spent a quick 5 minutes with her for hair and make-up and she felt so special! Then mom got her in her dress and put her jewelry on!

Then she got to play model! She didn’t play for to long though because it only took her about 10 minutes to realize the dress was too hot and too heavy and she couldn’t walk with out falling! But when she was in that dress it was just to precious!

Her daughter enjoyed helping mommy get dressed too!

I had a great time getting her into her dress for her 10 yr anniversary! I guess bridal session aren’t just for the newly weds!

So far I have covered the Vintage Bride and The Boho Bride, now onto the Country Bride!

The Country Bride is going to be wearing boots! Boots are a sure thing for the Country Bride! The Country Bride will not go with out the boots! Did I make my point there?! Other than boots, they will usually have a more relaxed dress.

The country brides hair hairstyle will most likely be down with curls, something unique but not to fancy.

Her make up will be soft. Seriously, how beautiful is she!!

Her scene will have things that scream country. Like an old wooden building that I will most definitely use to in pictures!

Chickens maybe…. Even a rooster with this bride!

In this case, a canoe next to this amazing back yard lake!

Dirt roads…I love dirt roads! She walked towards me like a runway model, confident and beautiful!

Every country wedding scene is different yet distinct.

The scene may change but the brides don’t. They are all sweet and smiley and love to have fun!
